‘Kawaii’ is Japanese for ‘cute’

I realise this is the second time I’ve posted a children’s product in a week; and contrary to popular belief I am not pregnant. Last time I checked I didn’t have a uterus, and besides, even if I did, why would I give up this figure? I digress. Japanese company, Funfam has invented the table manners set for chidren who are learning to dine correctly. Made from bamboo by a 64-year-old furniture company, the table manners set is comprised of a tray with carved sockets for the corresponding cutlery. Small diagrams indicate for which course each utensil is used and can be wiped down for use at the next meal. Provision has been made for both eastern and western culture with both traditional flatware and chopstick options.

Funfam is even offering table etiquette classes for little ladies and gentlemen to teach the essentials of being a good dinner guest. Getting in early while children are forming their habits is ingenious, particularly considering some of their adult counterparts wooden have the slightest idea what they are doing at the table. Get it? Alright, I’m leaving. I’ll see myself out.
