Designer napery fit for any minimalist

What do you get someone who lives in an all-white house that resembles the scene where Mike Teevee is shrunk to ant-size in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory? Why, something that complements the décor, of course! Italian design house, Flat Design, has created a collection of table linen, featuring designs by twelve international designers. The collection proffers matching tablecloths, table runners, napkins and place mats in white linen embroidered with contemporary designs in coloured thread.

According to Flat, “The main features are represented by the creative imprints of international designers and art directors challenging themselves in experimenting with textile as a bi-dimensional surface like a sheet of paper, imprinting it with their personal poetic touch.”

The collection is made from environmentally-friendly natural fibres that are produced and manufactured in Italy and has intepretations by designers such as Fernando and Humberto Campana, Nicola Gotti, Massimo Pitis and Martin Saemmer.

Flat Design’s collection is available from their Sant’Antonino showroom, or you can contact them via e-mail: sales@flatdesign.it
