Back by popular demand (thanks, Mum!), I Do Believe I Came with a Hat is pleased to announce that Carnival Carnage will ride its exceptionally high horse once again! A veritable selection of the ‘Don’ts’ that the Spring Racing Carnival has to offer, we ask you, our race-going correspondents to send in your photographic evidence of the worst crimes of fashion, deportment and general slovenliness that you can find.
First, check out our sideshow slideshow from last year’s Carnival to understand the calibre you’ll be contending with, then, once trackside (be it at Flinders Street Station or Flemington), snap with unabashed delight* and send your evidence to carnage@icamewithahat.com. Never mind the picture quality: we understand it’s hard to be surreptitious when capturing the moment. Once we’ve received them, we’ll select the best and publish them here in our 2011 gallery throughout the course of the Carnival. Happy snapping!
*Remember, it’s all in good fun and in the name of stamping out poor behaviour, so please be respectful.
