Your Agony Uncle responds to some of the leaner-of-build-but-hefty-of-content questions this week.
What color blazer goes with a gray vest?
Kamal K., SanDiego
Your safest choices are black and navy, but watermelon would be a more daring option. Then again, you intend on wearing a grey sweater vest. ‘Nuff said.
Is it polite or horribly rude to hold your cutlery in reverse if you’re left-handed?

Put it this way: if we were dating, you would never have to worry about meeting my mother.
Is a bird in the hand really worth two in the bush (metaphorically speaking)?

Not if you’re making pheasant pie.

… but is that because your mother is also a Molly Duker, and she uses her fork with her right hand?
Incidentally, I hold my fork with my left, but I have come across other left-handers who use their left to fork it up. I never quite understood it, but then I never understood how right-handed people are comfortable using a fork with their left hand. I mean the fork is the most useful implement in the cutlery arsenal, so surely you would use your most dextrous appendage to wield it?
