A well-besuited man is always a feast for the eyes; an exercise in fastidious grooming, good taste and old-fashioned sensibility. Stocholm’s Nordiska museet asks the question: What is it to be a dandy? The exhibition proposes several interpretations of what the modern dandy could look like, including curated works by various Swedish style authorities, including, tailor, Frederik Andersen; fashion researcher, Rickard Lindqvist; journalist, Olaf Enckell; stylist, Lalle Johnson; author, Björn af Kleen; designer, Göran Sundberg; and shop owner, Christian Quaglia.
With brilliant exhibition design by Form Us With Love, dismembered MDF bodies display the various curators’ interpretations in eerie floating white surrounds.
“Dandy” runs until 1 May 2011, but if you’re geographically-challenged, you can view and vote for your favourite look here.

Those white plinths on the wooden trestle legs are fabulous. I love this show.
