Bow Ties for the Fairer Sex

Bow Ties for the Fairer Sex

There was a time in the Nineties when dressing like a man was in vogue amongst women, but often to mixed results. Who can ever forget Diane Keaton’s disastrous attempt at entering the British gentry? Rather than looking chic it rendered her a creepy extra from Beetle Juice; and everyone knows that looking like they belong in a Tim Burton film is not a compliment, with the exception of Helena Bonham-Carter.

With this is mind, Los Angeles-based label, Tycoon Neckwear has created a range of bow ties for women. Fabricated from recycled men’s ties they’re feminine enough to dress up any outfit. The tie with a social conscience, 2% of proceeds go to the charitable organisation, Women for Women International, which isn’t a lesbian dating site as I first suspected.

So, ladies, embrace your inner hipster and put a bow on it. Just don’t tell Diane Keaton in case she ruins it for everyone.
