Many ladies look forward to the moment when one of their girlfriends asks them to be a member of their bridal party. It’s an honour bestowed upon a friendship, but when someone is excluded, it can result in tears, tantrums and turmoil. What many forget is that being a bridesmaid is charged with responsibility: holding the bouquet at the ceremony; lifting the bride’s train and ensuring she doesn’t become trapped in car doors, open fires and other hazardous flotsam; not to mention organising the hens’ night. Depending on the bride, the mere presence/absence of a male stripper can ruin a lifelong kinship in one booze-fuelled and phallus-adorned orgy of consumption. Then there’s the bridesmaid’s dress.
The mention of said garment causes so many potential ladies-in-waiting to recoil in fear, conjuring up imagery of taffeta, teal and sweetheart necklines. Why, there are aisles dedicated to nuptial monstrosities in thrift stores across the globe where expensive disasters in haberdashery have been cast aside for the next prom-themed house party.
Bridal wear label, BHLDN offers chic options that will live on after the last piece of confetti has fallen. Their motto, “Once a bridesmaid’s … always a dress” confirms that after a significant outlay, a gown won’t lay dormant in the back of a wardrobe. Much like the dead hooker who resides in mine.

Can anyone tell me a store that sells petite size wedding gowns in the NJ/NY area? | wedding
