When man discovered flint and the human race entered the Stone Age, I expect he never suspected that one day the humble axe would be turned into a hairdryer. Designer, Jean-Baptiste Fastrez has fused the tool of the modern man with he of millennia ago to challenge the status quo of hair styling.
With a series of interchangeable wooden handles handmade by craftsmen, Mr Fartrez says, they “suggest different possibilities for grip and therefore use of the tool.” Alas, chopping a pile of timber isn’t one of them.
