We’ve noticed a trend of reclaimed wooden accessories, but perhaps here is one we didn’t anticapte: wooden bow ties. From New York, Plank is a collection of playful neckwear designed by head of 22B Design Studio, Norman Teague. Not to be confused with the ridiculous trend favoured by the proletariat and the imbecilic, each piece is made from scrap pieces of wood left over from the wood shop.
While they might be something you’d consider only someone on their fixie to be wearing, they look pretty sharp with a business suit or as hair accessory. Ranging from Us$50-100, they are available from Plank’s online store.
