Obsessive-Compulsive Order: Ursus Wehrli’s Perfectly Arranged Art

In the vein of  the Tumblr  blog, Things Organized Neatly, which could only be described as porn for the fastidious and obsessive-compulsive, comes Swiss artist, Ursus Wehrli, who makes artwork by organising objects visually. Using a combination of real-life situations and an authoritative manner in a three-piece suit, he takes before-and-after aerial photos of humans and objects in their original state, then colour, size and shape-graded precision.

Previously, Wehril has “tided up” the artworks of famed artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Georges Seraut in his book, Tidying Up Art. His latest contribution to the coffee table is of his live and photoshopped versions, is entitled The Art of the Clean Up (Die kunst aufräumen), which is the follow-up to his bestseller, Kunst aufräumen.

It makes you wonder whether he’s available for sorting out wardrobe crises and ever-neglected garden sheds.
