A little while ago we reported David Lynch’s new Paris nightclub, Silencio, would be opening but at the time details were as unclear as the plot of Mulholland Drive from which it was spawned. Now with its doors open to the paying public, all has been revealed, including its transformation from Silencio to SILENCIO.
Designed by David Lynch and Raphael Navot of Enia architectural firm, with assistance from lighting designer, Thierry Dreyfus, the space evokes mystery and refinement with custom-made furniture from Domeau & Pérès and Ateliers GOHARD. Not only a cocktail bar, it offers a cinema and concert hall, which will host exclusive events for members.
SILENCIO is open daily from 6pm to 6am and is reserved exclusively for members and their guests until midnight and entitles them to benefits such as a concierge. Annual membership starts at 780€ for residents of Paris, however, a reduced rate of 420€ is offered to those who live abroad. Sounds like something worth the investment if only to have somewhere to go after dark in the nightlife-deprived City of Lights.
