One of the above dapper gentlemen is a hardened criminal, the other is a model from RRL‘s lookbook, Ralph Lauren’s diffusion label. But who’s who at the petting zoo?
With a clever take on the Australian 1920s mugshots that surfaced earlier this year, the label had dressed sepia-coloured gentlemen in the current looks reminiscent of the convict contingent from the NSW Police Forensic Photography Archive. Have a look through the gallery on the RRL website and you’ll find yourself unable to distinguish between the facsimile and the original, save perhaps for the picture clarity.
As for the gentlemen above: If you guessed that the criminal is on the right, then you’re correct, however, is that pairing of tie and pocket square on the leftmost gentleman not a crime against fashion?
