Lovers of art fare and tomes documenting said fare, rejoice! The New York Art Fair returns for its sixth consecutive year at MoMa’s PS1 in Queens. Presented by Printed Matter, it’s the world’s leading event to discover artists’ books and zines, art periodicals and contemporary art catalogues. Essentially, it’s what a young Robert Hughes would have hovered over under his eiderdown instead of his father’s Playboy.
There will be exhibitors from over twenty-one countries, representing independent publishers and presses, booksellers and antiquarian dealers in all things art. Certainly something worth leaving Manhattan for.
