Alas, those times have gone and now we see the same generic Rachel Zoe styling everywhere. A triumph for tastefulness and at times, blandness.
Stand up and say you miss statement-pieces with this actually fairly understated, reversible bag that features either a swan or a cygnet. Fashioned from bleached heavy cotton and grey canvas with an embroidered swan’s head, it is pattern cut and constructed by fashion and costume designer Hirochika Kameyama in Japan and later put together by a skilled tailor. The bag is available for SG$110 at Mimi Pong, who entreat that “You decide what your bag says about you”; mine will be saying, “Bring back the red carpet crazy!”
