In Short

In Short

Short and sweet, here are the pressing issues (well, some of them) for your Agony Uncle this week.
Oh, and if you like these shorts, you can buy them here from ASOS.

We have a common tea station for our office staff and we want them to make their tea without making too much noise. Could you please give me a nice slogan for them to keep quiet on tea stations while others are working?

How about “Please enjoy our complimentary tea. Please be quiet and make it quickly”?

Is is impolite to invite someone to your wedding when you know they cannot or will not come? This might include someone who lives in another country or someone who is ill and you know he or she cannot travel, or perhaps someone who is in prison. The person is otherwise someone you would like to be there, but you know he or she will not or can not attend.

It is better to invite someone than to omit them and assume they will understand why they haven’t been invited. You can always attach a personalised note that says that you would be delighted to have them join you if they can make it, but understand if they can’t. Of course, it really depends on when they come out on parole, n’est-ce pas?

I farted REALLY loudly in the gym a few days ago when I was doing crunches. Everyone went silent and I tried to laugh it off.
Will people forget about it?
