Christmas Novelty Clothing: Is It Salvageable?

This is a stupid question, of course it’s not. It’s frightening and should be stamped out, but here’s some Christmas apparel and thoughts on whether you can make it work for you. You might have to do it ironically but maybe you’re just the one to pull it off.

1. Christmas ties for boys from Vy: maybe your cute child can pull this off. They’re 100% cotton and only $20!
Likelihood of pulling it off: Possible.

2. Men’s candy cane g-string from abc underwear: only $12.99 for one size fits all.
Likelihood of pulling it off: Zero. Unless what you mean by pulling it off is, oh never mind.

3. Christmas tie skirt from Kelsi Leithner: $50 for this denim and Christmasy challenge.
Likelihood of pulling it off: Not that likely. You are going to have to be pretty ironic to make this work. You might have to be Alanis Morrisette.

4. Occupy the North Pole t-shirt from shirtoid: $19.95 for taking a gamble on offending people.
Likelihood of pulling it off: More likely if it’s a Wall Street crowd

5. I find your lack of taste disturbing t-shirt from zazzle: $30.35 for being super meta: you’re complaining about wearing a novelty sweatshirt by wearing a novelty sweatshirt.
Likelihood of pulling it off: At the weekend possible, not for work.

6. Mrs Claus costume from eBay: $63.75 to look like an older woman who favours red and white.
Likelihood of pulling it off: Look, I don’t really know but I just don’t think it’s how you should be positioning yourself.

I do believe there’s more for you to read:
