Is gym attire appropriate on a flight? Male or female?

As a gentleman who doesn’t own a single pair of tracksuit pants, there’s no excuse for slovenly travel attire, no matter the gender or transgender; post-op or pre-op.

Should a phone call always be responded to?
Bob, Newark
In age of caller ID, call screening can be both a convenience and a hindrance. Taking a call immediately (provided it’s appropriate for the situation) saves you having to call the person back and gives you an opportunity to imitate your favourite ESL student should you wish for them to never call again.

What’s the best way to address groups? I resort to ‘you guys’ but I think this feels a little awkward when it’s all or some women involved.
Peter, Twitter
‘You guys’ is rather informal and best avoided—try ‘ladies’, ‘gents’ or ‘folks’ instead. I’d avoid ‘you monkey-faced bastards’ unless you’re particularly close.
