Turn Page in Case of Emergency: Bender Bound Concealed Booze Books

Do you ever feel that a nip of whisky is the order of the day at 10am? Let’s face it: it’s Terrible Tuesday, we’re two weeks shy of Christmas and some of us did stupid things at the weekend, like revisiting our early-twenties—something to dull the pain is almost medicinal. Unfortunately not all of us have the luxury of working without supervision and in our underpants. Or in advertising.

Now you can get your drink on on the sly with Bender Bound. Cleverly disguised as a book, flasks of your favourite hooch can be hidden from plain view and used whenever the time calls for it. Cook books that contain cooking sherry for bored housewives, law books stuffed with 100 proof for High Court judges and pilot manuals filled with Jägermeister for the next time you have a 747 of responsibility on your hands and you need something to steel your nerves—they have it.

Each book is handmade for around US$100, and although you could probably do it yourself with some craft glue and a Stanley knife, I doubt you could you could stop your hands from shaking long enough. Money well spent.

I do believe there’s more for you to read:
