These days when you travel internationally, you can expect the full pat-down and gestapo-like interrogation just for carrying your favourite moisturiser and other essential grooming products—does liquor count?—in your carry-on luggage. The indignity! There’s nothing frisky about a frisking and the official conducting it is usually some sweaty, pie-eating heavy-breather who hasn’t ever been instructed in the basics of personal hygiene.
